Zhenjiang Emergency Medical Rescuing Center ( Zhenjiang Emergency Medical Center ) is the only medical and health organization, which is engaged in first aid medical, the scientific research, the teaching work. It is the Jiangsu university first aid the teaching and the social practice base, equipped with the first aid medicine faculty working office,the accident injury medicine laboratory and the disaster medicine laboratory. At present has two graduate studentsand, six intermediate and high first aid medical experts, one municipal government 169 talented man.The central predecessor is the Zhenjiang emergency station, founded in July, 1982. 
The emergency center is a specialized medical establishment, engaged in first aid and the public health emergency.It mainly undertakes eight duties (responsibility): One , to implement first aids with the sanitation bureau leaders' help ; Two, carries on the service instruction to the subordinate first aid medical service substation;Three, undertakes the daily the danger,the emergent ,the severely wounded patient's first aid , conveys patients and transfers to other hospitals ; Four, undertakes heavy, special, big, emergent events and disaster accident patient's first aid; Five, undertakes the large-scale assembly, the important competition and the active scene first aid medical service safeguard duty; Six, launches first aid the teaching and the scientific research work, introducts ,promots and pervases the new technology, the new project of first aid; Seven, to train first aid personnel and the special operating personnel;Eight, to popularize the first aid knowledge, the first aid common sense and the first aid propaganda education work.
My center in under the city sanitation bureau's leadership, speciallyin the recent 3 years, successively disposed to flow ICU; Established many sites in different cities; Has set up the accident injury medicine laboratory and the disaster medicine laboratory, successively managed and has developed 4 item of cities levels scientific research topics;Has set up an elective curriculum "Practical First aid Medicine" in Jiangsu University .simultaneously established 120 first aid communities school, the farmer first aid the school and the young people 120 first aid the school, became "the Jiangsu University undergraduate students social practice base" and "the Zhenjiang young people protects oneself education base"; The establishment "120 compassion rescues special-purpose fund", the establishment "120 first aid the volunteer", creatively developed first aid knowledge popular science propaganda education.
